I used a large polythene sheet to protect the kitchen table while I was painting the material for the landscape coat and the polythene became stained and coloured by paint and ink. I folded and ironed the polythene to make these landscapes. They are   the traces and remains of the original painting. They are also landscapes made from plastic, appropriate when even the rain contains plastic microfibres.
